"Back in 1957, sweet-talking W.W. lived in a '55 Olds, loved bubble gum, Errol Flynn, country music, fried chicken, robbing filling stations, and a girl named Dixie. Not necessarily in that order."
WW Bright goes through life like a kind of Robin Hood: he makes a living by robbing Southland Oil's gas stations and sharing the loot with the tank clerk. On the run from the police, WW ends up in a dance hall, where Dixie and the Dancekings are just performing. The former detective Deacon has been chasing WW for quite some time and finally thinks he can get him. Thought wrong.
