Susan Lane (Rosalind Russell) is a psychiatrist who falls for one of her patients. Namely for the war cartoonist Michael Kent (Lee Bowman). Lane wants to use Michael Kent as proof for her theory that people should suppress their emotions, but suddenly finds it quite difficult herself.
