Once upon a Time in the Midlands plot
Dek and Shirley live with 12-year-old Marlene, her daughter from a former relationship with prisoner Jimmy, who had been lubricated on him years ago. When Jimmy sees Dek propose to Shirley on TV, he travels back to the village convinced he can win Shirley back. But he hadn't counted on the tough resistance of Marlene, his sister Carol and her husband Charlie.
