Four beautiful people doing their thing. Nothing new under the sun, but smooth and entertaining and with the occasional nice line of dialogue, like this one from Harrison Ford: "Half the people who watch your show have lost their remote, and the other half are waiting for their nurse to turn them over!" And the very last shot of Keaton and Ford is very funny. Forgotten tomorrow, thoroughly entertained today.

“I will have you know that this show is very important to a lot of people, including, but not limited, to me! My ass on the line here.”

A wonderfully light comedy that gives a dark winter evening a little more color and cheerfulness. That is also due to the acting of Rachel McAdams because you sit with a smile on your face watching the entire film to her adventures as a television producer. What a fresh appearance. McAdams plays Becky, who must reinvigorate a drowsy morning show.

With the serious grumbler Mike Pomeroy (a wonderfully glamorous Harrison Ford) and the experienced and above all Colleen Peck (the visibly fun-loving Diane Keaton) as talk show hosts, she sets to work to boost the ratings. Of course that initially goes disastrous and the show is almost cancelled, but because of her unlimited energy and positivity, Becky knows how to whip her team, Pomeroy and Peck more and more and her ideas are increasingly bearing fruit. Ford and Keaton are great together and the deep-seated dislike that their characters feel for each other is beautifully portrayed by these two acting greats. There's also a subplot surrounding Becky and Adam Bennett's (Patrick Wilson) blossoming love, and thankfully this part never gets too tacky or dramatic. Morning Glory is an entertaining comedy where the smile probably won't disappear from your face anytime soon.

Forced and quickly outdated comedy that comes across as very colorless. Rachel McAdams, like her character, does her very best and manages to carry the film, but nevertheless it is difficult to keep the attention.

The main problem is that veterans Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton have little comedic talent and are little more than caricatures of the actors they once were. Furthermore, Patrick Wilson is a terrible salt bag and the complications are so predictable that boredom quickly sets in.

The exception to the rule was Jeff Goldblum in a nice cynical supporting role. In the moments that he passed, I jumped up for a while and then calmly slumped again and undergo the long ride of mediocrity.

Since Goldblum and McAdams were enjoyable, the point is no lower.

Mediocre.

TellinFilms that have many indoor locations and have busy and dynamic scenes have their own difficulties. This movie is good in this respect and has been able to have good decoupages in the interior scenes. g with cinema from TV
