The mayor of Trézignan would like to bring his village out of oblivion and give it allure, so that hordes of tourists come to it. He wants to attract attention by bringing winegrower Edouard Saint-Forget's quintuplets back to the village on the occasion of their fortieth birthday. However, there is one problem; the five brothers have not spoken to their father for twenty years and no one knows where they are. Their godfather, Doctor Bollène, goes in search of them and finds them again. However, the daily lives of the five men look completely different. Alain, the most pretentious of the five, runs a beauty salon; Bernard is responsible for the heart section of a magazine; Charles, who goes through life as a Father, has a hard time with the fact that he resembles Don Camillo; Désiré is a window washer and Etienne is a skipper. The feast brings them all together. It all becomes a bit too much for Désiré when he learns that he has become the father of sextuplets.
