Ecce Bombo plot
Michele Apicella is a melancholy 24-year-old student with far-left sympathies. He has trouble maintaining relationships in general; such as relationships with women, with his parents and his friends. The film is a story about young people who cannot find work or women and who feel misunderstood by their parents. It is Moretti's attack on the established order, at the same time an ode to youth.
