Doctor Detroit plot
"He's making the world safe for insanity."
Pimp Smooth Walker gets into trouble when he can't meet his financial obligations to Mom. To get a stay and hopefully a stay of execution, he concocts a lucrative alliance with a fictional doctor Detroit who pressures him and puts Mom in competition. The wimpy Clifford Skridlow, a university lecturer, is chosen by Walker to give shape to this chimera.
