"Of all the worlds in all the galaxies...why did they pick this one?"
When Margaret Newman doesn't return from visiting her family in Centerville, her ex-husband Charles Bigelow decides to comb the village to find her. He asks the villagers for help, but they claim to have never heard of the Newman family. Charles has a lot of questions, but then he discovers that Centerville is inhabited by aliens. He immediately returns to his New York apartment. The fact that he reveals his unusual experience to a tabloid in his home city, however, is not appreciated by the extraterrestrial visitors.

Unexpectedly nice!
Extremely pleasant, a beautifully maintained film. Wonderful to watch, where I really enjoyed the cool atmosphere. I found the soundtrack significantly less (a bit Disney-like). Personally, I would have appreciated some nice 80's synth sounds more, but otherwise the score as it is actually fits the film perfectly.
A small recommendation for fans! 7/10*

Seen on the Blu-ray release of Imprint. A nice transfer for this low budget, but it couldn't save the film. Started out nicely with an 80's atmosphere in that town Centerville, but as soon as it goes back to New York there is no way to make head or tail of it. The story is full of plot holes and goes all over the place, it seems like they stuck random scenes together. And then that terrible soundtrack, which doesn't fit a sci-fi at all. No, unfortunately a disappointment for me, I expected more.
