Much less compared to the first part.

The jokes don't really come through here and the acting is also of a lower level.

It's funny that the Dutch Hanna Verboom plays along in this.

Rob Schneider has quite a few nice films to his name but he never really made it to the top and in the last few years we don't really see him play any ceremonially anywhere.

Pretty mediocre movie. Rarely funny, but not disturbing to me either. I have no idea how long it has been since I saw the first one, I can't remember much about it. This sequel is flat and predictable and Rob Scheider isn't exactly number 1 in my favorite actors list, but bon;

Bland sequel.

At the time, I thought the first part was an entertaining, fast-paced comedy. However, not a film I ever expected a sequel to, since it doesn't provide much to really experience a sequel. It is then made in 2005 by someone who bears almost the same name as the main character. Intent?

In any case, it has become a very tame sequel that can't really touch the level of the first part, which was already not particularly high, at any time. The jokes are also less sharp this time. Remarkable, because the level of humor was not high in the first part, and here it is actually even more childish. Not because the level has dropped so far, but because it's all a bit more moralistic.

Schneider is therefore a figure that has mainly become a caricature of itself. Doesn't really make sense here anymore, except that he reads a lot of riffs towards the finale about what we as humans think wrong when it comes to romance. It's actually all quite tiring to watch.

Still, I have to say that there is still a nice sense of adventure. It is no longer a real Deuce Bigalow film, but the locations are nice, including sequences in our own country. The finale certainly produces some images that draw you as a viewer to the screen. This shows that the film really only exists as entertainment and that still manages to work quite nicely. The quality has only deteriorated sharply.
