"You're never quite ready for what life delivers."
David Wozniak (Vince Vaughn) is a sperm donor known at the sperm bank under the pseudonym "Starbuck". One day he finds out that he has already put 533 children on earth. When a large group of them ask the sperm bank to release the donor's identity, David is faced with a difficult decision. At the same time, his girlfriend tries to find out if David is a suitable father.

Delivery Man
A man with 533 children. That in itself is an interesting premise for a crazy comedy. But Delivery Man is mostly boring and uninspired, and of course you have another storyline about a man who finally has to grow up. It's all ridiculous, but the film brings it with the seriousness of an arthouse drama. Only Chris Pratt knows how to strike the right note. You can draw the sentimental and gooey ending.

I actually found Delivery Man to be surprisingly good. Not only is Vaughn on a roll as a layabout, but especially the sleazy Chris Pratt steals the show.
What is an unexpected bonus, however, is that the film contains quite a bit of feel-good sentiment under the bland premise, which makes you look at the credits with a pleasant feeling.
3.5 stars.
