Jack Wyatt is a mediocre movie star who wants to kick-start his career by playing Darren Stephens in a new series of the classic TV series Bewitched. Jack meets the beautiful Isabel and finds her perfectly suited to play his wife Samantha in the series. However, he does not know that Isabel is actually a real witch, which of course makes her very suitable for the role.

What a boring and bad movie. Pretty much every moment is predictable, neither lead can bring the accompanying character to life, and the only reason they "get" each other in the end is because this is a romantic comedy, not because their characters are on whatever stage. way could fall for each other or even find each other intriguing. Only plus point is Shirley MacLaine, who nevertheless steals every scene in which she appears with almost no dialogue. But just imagine this movie starring Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn…

Doesn't get boring, but then it stops. After that I watched a few old episodes of Bewitched, and they are much more fun. Maybe the makers should have gotten a little more inspiration first by watching those old episodes.
