"It's a wonderful afterlife."
David finds a girl in the apartment he just rented. The problem is that only he can see her; in fact, she is the ghost of Elizabeth, a trainee doctor who is in a coma at a nearby hospital, and the apartment belongs to her. “I shouldn't be seeing a little blonde control freak.”
A film saved by the chemistry between Ruffalo and Witherspoon. The dialogues are strong and it crackles between the two. You have to be open to a spiritual film and the story has little to do with the rest. There's enough humor in it and especially the fact that only Ruffalo can see 'ghost' Witherspoon makes for nice situations. The ending is predictable, but it's handled nicely.
