School Ties plot

"Just because you’re accepted doesn’t mean you belong."

David Greene ends up at a prestigious school on the basis of a football scholarship in the 1950s. He must help the school's football team defeat their old rivals. David comes from a working-class background, so he doesn't quite fit into the group at school. However, he is very good at making friends, only to find out that David is Jewish, something he has tried to hide.
