Ah, was that supposed to, that Freudian quibble at the end? Yes, of course! That her father knew she knew explains his ruthless attitude, and her intransigence, her far-reaching anarchy and her desire to offer her body in the back rooms of male desire as impossible merchandise[ /spoiler].
Her quest, in effect, becomes a punishment for every man in power, every symbol for the father, with every night involving the ritual murder she could never commit: she plunges into a world of the utmost capital, but turns out not to be herself. to be for sale. At the same time, with her staggering fortune , she can't buy what she needs: connection. This also includes infantile trauma: after all, making yourself vulnerable entails the possibility of infidelity, and thus of irrevocable damage. However?
Well. So that in a compelling, exciting film. Well told, at times funny. And with Jessica Chastain. In the lead. Guys, need I say more?

Impressive film that overcomes various potential obstacles (knowledge in advance how the film will end, the fairly constant voice-over, the psychology-of-the-cold-ground monologue of Kevin Costner on the bench by the ice rink[/spoiler ]) conquers without any problem thanks to Jessica Chastain's superb acting, Idris Elba's monologue, fantastic dialogues and the compelling nature of the plot. Crazy roll by Chris O'Dowd.
