The Fox and the Hound plot
"A story of two friends who didn't know they were supposed to be enemies."
Frey, a fox cub, is separated from his mother and taken in by an old farmer's wife. Nearby lives a farmer who bought Frank, a gundog puppy. Against the farmer's will, Frank and Frey play together every day. But when the farmer goes hunting in the fall, he takes Frank with him to make a real hunting dog. Frey is sad to have to let his boyfriend go, and when he returns in the spring, Frank isn't the dog Frey remembers.

Despite the original being renamed to a Disney standard, it is still impressive that this story manages to shine out of realism and purity. Without heroes versus villains or good versus evil, a story arises here which makes the characters purer and more lifelike than the often used fairy tale moral. The animation and the use of colors is beautiful for that time and a solid foundation for all the animation of this time. Both young and old can more than enjoy this classic of size.

Average Disney movie. The graphics sometimes feel corny, but good. A Disney movie always has so much more qualities than that. Just think of the nice music (although that is a bit less in this film I personally think), the often talking animals, and a message/moral. It is striking, incidentally, where films such as Ice Age have achieved the mustard in terms of side figures (silkworm)
