Freshly added, post a review immediately. The Snowman is a bit of youth nostalgia, although unlike many other nostalgic things, it still stuck. A short winter/Christmas animation that is one of the absolute best for me. The beautiful music, the simple images, the sparse text that comes from the narrator, ... A film for the wider family with plenty of room for imagination. A few years ago I saw the film in our cultural center with music by a live orchestra. I was taken on a beautiful journey.

I was raised Catholic and never had the image of Santa Claus. I knew that one, but that wasn't Christmas for me. Never been a fan of the Coca Cola truck with its kitschy Christmas parade. The Snowman leaves a lot of room for a Christmas film because it could just as well be a cozy winter film. You get what you want out of it.

I soon suspected that I had seen this as a child, and I especially liked the ending

Ultimately very familiar, although I may have a similar ending in another film

seen. Beautiful, warm animation and the same applies to the story. This is necessary for a child

film would have been a pleasant and enchanting experience at the time. Drawn animations

are often more appealing to me than those made via the computer, and this applies to

me too as a gem. From the same director (Murakami) of When The Wind Blows and

which I like even better: Also warm and wonderfully creative, but also bitter and bitter in terms of story

melancholy and therefore probably less suitable for children. The music to The Snowman

I also thought it was beautiful and it fit the story perfectly.

Nice authentic Christmas film that might come into its own even better during the end of the year. At first I thought it was nothing special. Nicely drawn, yes, but quite mediocre. Until the suspense arrived with the wonderful flight over the village, the hills and finally the ocean. As if it wasn't enough, the supporting music gave me goosebumps.

Very nice to have seen. Warm, atmospheric film for the whole feeling. Anyone who has seen it before will certainly get nostalgic feelings.
