"The darkest chapter in the Yamato saga"
While Earth is recovering from the Gamilon attacks, it has begun to colonize minor planets. The staff of the spaceship Argo has since been relieved of its duties and has gone to seek refuge in a different environment. When Lord Zordar's "White Comet Empire" sets out to conquer Earth, the Gamilon's crew is gathered back together to stop Lord Zordar's plans.
