Osmosis Jones plot
"Every body needs a hero."
Frank Detorre has only one hobby: food. He cannot resist everything that is edible and especially snacks. Frank is lazy and hates exercise. When he drops a hard-boiled egg on the floor while working as a caretaker at the zoo, he doesn't think twice. He picks it up, opens his mouth and eats the dirty egg. From that moment on, there is panic in Frank's unhealthy body. Osmosis Joses, a young white blood cell and police officer, tries to keep order in Frank City. Together with the painkiller Drix, Osmosis will fight the virus Thrax to save Frank and the inhabitants of Frank City from a fatal outcome.

Nice job this.
Thought the link between the two worlds was successful, then also a pretty creative elaboration of the animation world. Lots of fun ideas and jokes.
The live action part wasn't too bad either, Murray does a pretty good job as a filthy, clunky, dry guy. Still, a role that suits him best.
A bit of a shame that after introducing the whole setting, the second part starts to lean on the too standard story. Happens more with the Farrellies, and although it still remains nice, it still makes the films a little less than could have been.
Also bad choice to take the voice of Chris Rock. Although he doesn't do a bad job in itself, his voice is far too typical, which makes you watch Rock for a long time. Never good at animation, because of course they animate those characters for a reason.
Funny film, in itself an outsider within the oeuvre of the Farrellies, although you recognize some of it.

Nice and somewhat entertaining comedy that loses power due to the dominant and at times irritating voice of Rock. The sometimes somewhat bland story is not equally funny everywhere, but it all remains reasonable.
