"Hell" is the place where someone ends up who has committed violent crimes during his lifetime. It is forbidden for Shinigami to go there. One day, the prisoners revolt and escape to Karakura - a real-world city - where Ichigo and his friends live. One by one, Ichigo and his friends are defeated by force majeure. A mysterious man appears to help them. With Kokutou in charge, Ichigo, Rukia, Uryuu and Renji go to Hell to save the world.
