The Secret Kingdom plot
When the floor under twelve-year-old Peter and nine-year-old Verity suddenly disappears, they end up in an underground room. There they meet all kinds of creatures. Their leader tells Peter that his arrival has been foretold and that he is the only one who can destroy the Shroud. That is an evil creature that feeds on fear.
