Sleeper plot

"Love is a dangerous thing..."

Resnik ends up in prison for the murder of a man and the kidnapping of the young woman Kelly, with whom he was obsessed. For the safety of the other inmates, he is only allowed to be awake at night so that he can eat alone and do his exercises. Resnik escapes during a transfer. Detectives Raynor and Molloy have only twelve hours - until the sun goes down - to stop him before he causes a massacre.
