"The old west meets the far east."
Peking, 1881. To escape a forced marriage, Princess Pei Pei fled to America with an escort. Barely on American soil, the young woman realizes she's been trapped. After all, her supervisors turn out to be gangsters who only want to release her for a nice sum of money. Chon Wang, master of martial arts, promises the Chinese emperor that he will save the princess.

Pretty fun, but ultimately not special enough to be more than adequate. The film has a good balance between good action scenes from Jackie Chan and the humor of Chan and Wilson. Together they play the duo in which two opposites work together to save a princess. The cooperation between the two gentlemen is excellent, and the pleasure is clearly visible.

I thought I had seen this one in the past, but hardly recognized anything anymore. Nice comedy/action movie with Chan and Wilson. Nice setting in the wild west, nice jokes and nice fight scenes. Well worth a look, 3 stars!
