"The Original Kung Fu Comedy!"
Young Wong Fei-Hong (Chan) is apprenticed to a kung-fu master to learn the secrets of the Drunken Fist. However, the kung-fu master turns out to have rather unconventional methods, so that Fei-Hong regularly doesn't like it anymore. In the end, he must persevere in order to stand up to an evil kung-fu master.

The Tiger Fist, Crane Fist or Monkey Fist, they're all nice and nice, but nothing is cooler than the Drunken Fist

What kos says, totally stupid on many levels, but quite entertaining. The settings there between the mountains, Chan's moves and every now and then a little laugh... great entertainment. Thought the so-called fights were drawn out way too long often, but ok. Nice to have seen.

Terribly childish, sometimes really to the point of being idiotic. The version that is now on Netflix keeps switching between English spoken and Cantonese spoken. That makes it all the more absurd. At the time an important springboard for Chan, but now terribly overtaken by time.
