Hard to defend this film: it offers nothing new, the characters are all clichéd and the CGI is sometimes downright bad (those alien dogs or however you want them to call...). Still, I've watched it a few times and I still like it every time: maybe it reflects the director's fun, maybe it's the energetic way the clichés are filled in, maybe it's the funny way it "ten little niggers" thing is worked out, maybe it's the memory of the much better primal movie that is kept alive by this movie, and maybe it's also the fun of a nice fat and uncomplicated B-movie. I can't really call him really good, but I just enjoy it every time (and the twist at the end with that sympathetic doctor – by the way, very well portrayed by Topher Grace– me still great). "I want off this planet!"

I don't think it's the best movie of all, but they've kept it very well with the old version. An alien-like forest, and a man in a predator costume. It doesn't really have the special effects you want either, but it had something to keep the suspense in it. They managed to keep a good balance between the characters and the image on the Alien.

Entertaining sci-fi action movie 
Nowhere as good as the brilliant first part with Arnie.
Brutal hard action scenes make up for a lot though.
Nice made up story and the actors do their best
