Blonde Fist plot
Ronnie O'Dowd is a woman from Liverpool with a keen sense of social justice. Due to her temper, she beats up her ex-boyfriend's corrupt girlfriend and is sentenced to a year in prison. Ronnie manages to escape and flees to New York, where she hopes to find her father. She eventually meets American Lovelle Summers and the two women form a friendship based on shared cultural experiences. When Ronnie sees a poster announcing a club for amateur female boxers, it leads to an unexpected career.
