The 10 BEST Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson movies of all time
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson was such a megastar with World Wrestling Entertainment that it seemed inevitable his talents would eventually lead to Hollywood.
The man-mountain made his theatrical movie debut with a small role in The Mummy Returns and that would lead to a spin-off, The Scorpion King. Thereafter, he would take different roles in different genres to expand his pallet in front of the camera.
Johnson has subsequently said recently that, around that time, he was given the advice to ignore his persona as The Rock and slim down from his hulking physique. He did that for a while, but it was only after he embraced it again that he became a box office juggernaut.
His emergence as a bankable star arguably started with Fast Five when he helped reinvigorate the Fast and the Furious franchise. It is perhaps no surprise that Fast Five is rated as his best film by the MovieMeter community.

The Fast franchise takes up three spots in his top 10, while second on the list is Disney's Moana in which he provides the voice of Maui.
Two of the movies on the list come from cameos, albeit memorable ones, in Free Guy and Fighting with My Family respectively.
