Zwak decenium, want hoewel ik veel meer films uit de jaren 80 gezien heb dan bijvoorbeeld de jaren 70, scoort de jaren 80 veel minder qua top 10.

Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, Amadeus, Paris, Texas en Blue Velvet zijn films die nog op mijn to see lijst staan.

Mwah, dat valt wel meer toch? Aan je scores te zien.

Ja de 10 beste films zijn natuurlijk niet slecht. Maar het is voor mij het enige decenium sinds de jaren 40 zonder 5,0* film. Daarnaast is het aantal 4,0* ook vrij magertjes in verhouding tot de jaren 70, 60 en 50, terwijl ik van de jaren 80 meer films gezien heb dan van de jaren 50, 60 en 70 bij elkaar. Kortom reden genoeg dus om dit een zwak decenium te nomen dacht ik zo.

Mwah, ik vind zwak een groot woord. Redelijk zou beter passen, maar het is jou feestje natuurlijk

Ja zo kun je natuurlijk uren doorgaan. Maar vanwege reeds genoemde feiten is het i.m.o. gewoon relatief zwak, iets wat Co Jackso ook al aangeeft.

Een mooi rijtje films, inclusief het meesterwerk uit Nederland. Daarnaast is de dichtheid van goede films, met name in 98 en 99, heel groot. Dat is dan ook het grote verschil met de jaren 80, dat meer bestond uit uitschieters. Verder zijn dit de jaren waarin David Fincher en PTA voor het eerst films begonnen te maken.
