Dead Leaves, Hotaru no Haka, Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi, Tenshi no Tamago en Tonari no Totoro. En dat zijn alleen nog maar de 5* animatiefilms. Ook buiten Japan is er genoeg leuks te vinden, btw.

Het westerngenre kent helaas geen echte uitblinkers. Een nogal duf, eentonig en stoffig genre. De opbrengst na een kijkbeurt is bijna altijd karig, op de 2 bovengemiddelde films na dan.

Desondanks probeer ik af en toe weleens een western. De volgende westerns wil ik ooit nog wel een keer een kans geven, op volgorde van interesse: Death Man Rides A Horse, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, McCabe & Mrs. Miller, Johnny Guitar, High Plains Drifter, Shane, True Grit, Giù la Testa & The Man Who Shot Libert Valance. De rest lijkt mij kleurloos.
