A pretty mediocre sequel to the very original first part. The beginning is still nice (with a nice role for Tiffani-Amber Thiessen), but after that we've had it. A few nice gore scenes provide a little revival a few times, but that is only short-lived.

The original of the story is of course also gone and the actors do not act for a meter and somehow seem to have no sense at all. No shame that such a sequel has been made to such a fun original film.

1.5*

Not a good movie, don't think it's worth the flop top 100 because it wasn't that bad either.

Not the best story, the actors thought it was fun to play, especially Patrick. The vampires looked fake of course.

but I was surprised how bad it was.

Ooh, after the strong original this was a bit of a swallow. We follow a completely new story that is unfortunately very poorly developed. Vampires who want to continue robbing the bank for no apparent reason? That's a really badly made plot. Furthermore, in terms of characters, we unfortunately have to make do with the acting of types like Raymond Cruz and Duane Whitaker. Robert Patrick still knows how to entertain in the lead role, but that's about all.
The special fx look really bad. Especially the bats look terrible. While I did find it amusing to see cameos from Bruce Campbell and Tiffani Amber-Thiess in the opening scene, it looks visually awful.
It's also nice to see Danny Trejo pass by, but unfortunately we don't get to see his striking appearance very often.
As a sequel and as a standalone film just a bad B-horror of which there are so many.
Unfortunately.
