A good film in which the unlikely duo tries to solve a new case. A great sequel that's just as good as the first film. A solid plot about the history of Zootopia, and the characters are well-developed. Plenty of action, humor, and nods to other films.

At times, the film reaches the level of the first film, one of Disney's nicest surprises this century. The way the animal world works and the many inside jokes (Remy!) make this film very enjoyable for adults. However, there's also a bit too much repetition, and the jokes in the first film were slightly better. The ending is also a bit rushed and goes too far, while the film is actually better when it stays short and focuses on the relationship between the fox and the rabbit. Otherwise, it's enjoyable viewing, with the plot primarily serving as a framework for all the themes, yet satisfying. Rounded down to 3.5*.

More of the same, but with less charm. A lot of clichés and little substance. The story has its moments. The characters are bland. A typical sequel, where the creators don't dare to do anything original, resulting in an uninteresting, predictable film. A typical popcorn movie, although the popcorn tastes better than the film...
