The Strangers: Chapter 3 (2026)

I don't understand the hate. These are low-budget films that are perfectly fine. They're not top-tier movies, but they know what they are. Plus, there are some interesting plot choices. No slasher clichés, just unexpected choices that make the series refreshing in this subgenre.

Renny Harlin did a great job in the short time he and his crew had to shoot all three films.

A mediocre finale to the series. The story picks up where Chapter 2 left off. The execution is very messy. As a viewer, you need to have Chapters 1 and 2 in mind, as there's no retrospective of those parts. Flashbacks are used to further explain the how, what, and why. Unfortunately, this doesn't offer any surprises or interesting plot twists, but rather exactly what you sensed coming in Part 2. A missed opportunity. Furthermore, it's the standard hack-and-slash action similar to the previous installments. Unfortunately, without the nerve-wracking suspense. 2.0/2.5
