Part of the Amityville series, but with a little more thought to the final content. Not that director Michael Angelo or screenwriter Amanda Barton come close to any originality, but it makes a little more sense than similar parts in this series. It's a shame that the actors with the apparently least talent are always pushed to the front, leaving the least interesting characters in the spotlight. The drama on the side is mainly tired, the plot twists are bordering on idiotic and in terms of special effects some things are done, but never in an impactful way. Some horror series need a drastic new twist, but this one especially needs the old formula again. Trying to bring a completely backward concept to the fore every time is pointless, especially not in the banal way of The Amityville Terror. The house on the poster is not put into use anywhere.
