Zaveshchaniye Professora Douelya plot
Professor Dowell and his assistant surgeon Dr. Kern working on raising the dead. dr. Kern kills Professor Dowell by causing him to get into a car accident and has his head amputated and kept alive in the lab to extract all of his knowledge. This is how he wants to gain scientific fame. Dowell's son is trying to do something about this.
