Captain Pierre François LaRochelle, a former corsair, has been captured by the British. To get his ship and freedom back, LaRochelle goes to spy for the British. He goes incognito as a French naval officer. His mission is to expose the pirate captain Anne Providence and her mentor, Captain Blackbeard. One day in the Caribbean Sea, an English ship carrying LaRochelle is boarded by Captain Anne Providence. Anne Providence believes LaRochelle's story and includes him on her staff. Despite being married, LaRochelle falls in love with Anne. Despite this, LaRochelle wants to extradite Anne to the British, but she spots his trap in time and kidnaps his wife Molly in revenge to trade her in the slave market.
