After the breakdown of his relationship, gay Parisian Jérôme (Eric Debets) impulsively books a solo Christmas vacation to Los Angeles. Like so many others, he wants to fulfill his dream of becoming a movie star and of course to find his true love in addition to fame and big money. Completely naive about what he has started, Jérôme manages to befriend a number of local residents and eventually lands a job as an actor. Nothing in Hollywood is what he thought it would be, but his experiences are both hilarious and poignant.
