Better than expected. Thought part 2, despite MJW, was a step back from the first part. Adkins luckily comes into his own here and the fights are ramped up a bit further. Not bad at all! Mykel Shannon Jenkins provides the traditional 'counterpart' to the gruff Uri, making for an entertaining build-up. Furthermore, a somewhat out of hand ending, but certainly entertaining with the right state of mind. Remains a middle of the road trilogy and yes... part 1 is still the best

After first having seen the second part of the series "Undisputed", it was now the turn of this third part. I really liked this third part, because I liked both the story and the execution of it. Nevertheless, this part is also full of clichés, it is not very original and the course is also quite predictable.

This part connects seamlessly with the end of the second part and this time Scott Adkins (again in the role of the Russian Yuri Boyka) takes the lead, who in the previous part got seriously injured on his right leg in the final fight with the American George Chambers. He takes that handicap into account in this story and by the way played meritoriously and his fights were definitely there again (especially of course the final fight against the Colombian Raul 'Dolor' Quinones who was played nicely by Marko Zaror).

Because this part revolves around a prison tournament with eight prison participants from different countries (including of course another black American named "Turbo" who was played by Mykel Shannon Jenkins and with whom Yuri Boyka eventually befriends ) the fighting action is more varied and all participants have their own fighting style (especially the fighting style of Brazilian Rodrigo Silva, played by Santiago Silva, was beautiful and comical). Of course the fights are all beautifully and also quite spectacularly portrayed. Apart from the many battles, the story was quite nice (the build-up is good and the story also contains a number of twists) and it was also captivating. The ending was also nice and was even somewhat surprising.

All in all, I had a good time with this fun fighting movie, which is entertaining and also a good look away.

Powerful part with a solid plot and good acting. Martial arts more than well represented. Great movie in the genre. Scott Adkins is the JCVD of the 21st century.
