After their breakup, a married actor couple still has to promote their new movie. When the print of the film does not appear, the publisher of the film makes up a story about the reunion of the two, while the actor is actually in love with his wife's assistant, and the actress has already found a new boyfriend.

A somewhat dull film that is somewhat saved by the actors. You can't go wrong with actors like Zeta-Jones, Roberts, Cusack, Crystal and Tucci. Zeta-Jones, Tucci and Crystal in particular are doing well. But the biggest star is of course Christopher Walken, who makes everyone pale in a small cameo. It's a shame that the rest of the film is so mediocre and predictable.

This Comedy / Romance film is a nice parody of Hollywood, but it never really gets sharp.
Actor Eddie Thomas (John Cusack) and actress Gwen Harrison (Catherine Zeta-Jones) are the darlings of the American public. Unfortunately, the couple is no longer a happy couple. Gwen started an affair with a hot-headed Spanish actor and Eddie had to recover from depression for months in an institution. Only problem is that they have one last film yet to be released. Publicity executives Lee Phillips (Billy Crystal) and Kathleen "Kiki" Harrison (Julia Robers) try to convince the press that all is well between Gwen and Eddie.
The actors and actresses do their best, but they can't make much of this weak scenario. A romantic comedy that will probably make few really laugh and never really get romantic anywhere. There are pleasant supporting roles from Stanley Tucci and Alan Arkin.
