"Tiger" Haynes is a trapper in China and has a beautiful daughter Toyo. She loves Bobby, the son of one of Tiger's old friends and becomes engaged to him. Bobby goes to work for Tiger, but during one of his trips he meets Madame de Sylva, who is actually Toyo's mother and was previously married to Tiger. She becomes his mistress. However, when she learns that Bobby plans to marry Toyo, trouble arises.
