horribly sick.
Only fun if Ice Cube suddenly shows up, or if Rory McCann (was he really, or am I looking at the wrong actor?) Oh Happy Day roars along in a church[ /spoiler]. Anyway, I didn't expect much else. A case of cashing out for Vin 'I'm a bit hard on' Diesel in the run-up to F&F 8, who indeed doesn't do much other than try to be cool and look dope in the meantime. Said dear Samuel L.Jackson, who puts down a copy of his role in Kingsman and then disappears again. To return as the risen lord in - yes, exactly - a church. And then there's Neymar, who comes in for a few tons via a small cameo.
And further... well, action and hot chicks. An appallingly bad script. An overdose of images edited together too quickly, which makes the action on screen now and then no more than a vague shadow. And then some actors who shouldn't have been here. Because they can't act (Toni Colette), because they are pretty but can't act (almost all other ladies), or because they degrade themselves (Donnie Yen). Degrade yes; Rogue One was still nice, but oh how I felt nostalgia when I thought back to Yip Man (2008). Yen seems to have finally been hijacked by Hollywood.
So a no-brainer. Xander Cage is spared the minimum score; the film tries not to take itself seriously, and therefore paradoxically has some nice moments. Via the cast, that is, because I wouldn't hire these scriptwriters for Ron Goossens yet.

Most viewers try to appear wise when rating films. And try to annoy most movie buffs.
You shouldn't take some movies too seriously and this xxx is an example of that.
It just looks nice without having to think.
These films are also necessary for entertainment.
Just bake popcorn, shut up and watch.

What a disappointment compared to the first movie. This time the action is good, but far too little present.
The story really makes no sense. Very stupid scenario.
Vin Diesel is also a lot older here. And his head isn't getting any better. Kind of looks like a potato.
The action and sometimes spectacular scenes ensure that you don't give up just yet.
