Pretty okay.
Indeed a new Bond, but made from an extreme sports attitude. With a bloated action hero, tattoos, nu-metal and electronics, motorbikes, base jumps, snowboards and whatever you want.
But otherwise it remains fairly faithful to the well-known formula. Including gadgets and someone who knows how to manage the whole gang. It's a weird combination sometimes, but it works. Especially because the action scenes are large and entertaining, also because Diesel can agree with a role like this.
Two hours might be a bit long for xXx, the story isn't that much and the intrigue that is a bit pursued doesn't come out well anywhere, but luckily there is enough action so that it never threatens to come to a standstill.
Clumsy entertainment, but that's exactly what it wants to be and exactly what it brings.

Edit: And while everyone seems happy with the Rammstein cameo in the beginning, I liked seeing Orbital much more half way through. Unfortunately one of their lesser songs, but still cool.

xXx an action film that seems a bit messy to me. Action at a high level is fine but it has to be right. The exaggerated macho content and the too much testosterone gives it an overkill so that it quickly starts to get boring.
