Grass plot
This film examines the history of US marijuana policy in the 20th century. Accompanied by Woody Harrelson, the viewer gets a picture of a wrong federal drug policy, which is ruled by a xenophobic fear of the Mexican immigrant and his drug use and by high crime rates. Because of prejudice and hysterical propaganda, marijuana doesn't stand a chance as a medicine. With archive footage of George Bush, John F. Kennedy and John Lennon, among others.
