Jackass: The Movie plot

"Do not attempt this at home."

Johnny Knoxville and his crew of madmen take the concept of the MTV show 'Jackass' (a bunch of dudes do dangerous and horrific stunts just to see what will happen) and turn it into a movie. This allows them to go even further in their stunts than they could on TV.

LOL.

Well what can I say about this. The story, of course, is not an issue with a film like this one. I've never seen the series from MTV and I'm ashamed that I'm only now seeing this one because I was really doubled up on some of the jokes and stunts.

Knoxville and his team do the funniest, funniest, crazy, daring and sometimes gross stunts. I regularly laughed hard at these stunts. Reminded me a lot of shows like Laughing at home videos but then in some parts even more.

Again, some stunts were funny, most of them so damn stupid. Piss, poo, puke are all discussed. Sometimes it goes a bit too far like firing a rocket off your ass or sniffing Wasabi. Enjoyed the rest

Hmm no. Some Jackass movies and moments are okay with me, but this is really too simple cheap humor to last longer than 10 minutes. The density of jokes is quite high with a lot of short pieces, but it is the jokes that take longer to build up and although I often like to see the best in Jackass, and this one hardly had that. Also visually very broke, so nothing to enjoy even there. 1.0* for a single successful moment.

Yup, pure nostalgia this Jackass. It was heavily watched on MTV at the time and I saw this movie a long time ago. Sometimes it's cool, even though there were a lot of parts in it that didn't appeal to me today. Those golf carts were fun. Some stunts were also extremely gross such as the ice cream cone. Really dirty to look at it. I also found that cutting paper intolerable. Better yet, a knife.

For the rest indeed rather flat and cheap scoring humor. There was also little coherence, no structure (as far as that is possible). Technically this isn't worth it, just some skits stitched together. So there is not much to judge. Considering the entertainment value, a narrow 2.5*.
