The Dark Hours plot
Attractive psychiatrist Samantha Goodman spends a weekend with her sister and husband in a holiday home. It's fun, until some unexpected guests arrive. One of Samantha's former patients thinks she abused him for other purposes during his time in an institution and wants revenge. The result is a series of macabre and perverse games.

A well-made psychological thriller with a grimy edge. Definitely not suitable for everyone due to the hallucinatory atmosphere. I actually like that, so that's already a big plus!

I didn't have high expectations and it seemed like a B-movie to me at first.
Ultimately, a good story with a dark side, well-filmed, and a head full of questions at the end credits.
I will definitely watch it again.

Quite a nice video.
It starts off reasonably strong and soon becomes quite mysterious. Despite perhaps having one twist too many, it remains reasonably suspenseful and mysterious.
The atmosphere isn't bad and the bad guy gives a strong performance. Kate Greenhouse, on the other hand, is a bit weaker and doesn't really act well. Furthermore, there are a few very strong scenes in it, where everything is well-filmed. The shooting of the dog and the chopping off of the finger, were quite impressive.
So certainly not bad; it tries to do just a bit too much at the end, but is otherwise quite well put together.
