"Romance Was Never More Dangerous!"
A famous reporter for the Chicago Chronicle has to do some fieldwork again and comes across a beautiful and ambitious colleague from the competitor: The Globe. Because she is only a rookie, he plays a prank on her, but she takes him back double and straight. Nolte and Roberts are nice but that doesn't make a good movie. Very mediocre.

Actually quite nice.
The film is a kind of swashbuckler in the setting of two competing journalists, with a scandal about something with agriculture. But that is not the point, it is about the interaction between Nolte and Roberts.
They reportedly hated each other during the recording. Roberts reportedly said that Nolte was the worst actor ever, and Nolte felt like he had sold his soul to the devil. Still, they play quite well together, and maybe that's a sign that they're both actually quite good actors.
Furthermore, it's not all that great. Just viewing material, and also quite okay viewing material, but the story is a hindrance to seeing more in it.
