The animals are entrusted to Kate, who lives on a mountain farm. Soon the three animals miss their friends and they make efforts to find them.

Been awhile since I've seen this one. Had never seen this as a child and that will undoubtedly play a role in my final judgment. I liked how those animals worked together and then another cat with 2 dogs, which is not obvious at all. All very nice, but often I won't put these on anymore.

Not really my cup of tea this Disney. I am no longer the target audience. Such a forced sentiment. And talking dogs and cats... nice in cartoons but not here. Definitely okay for children who like to see animals, but as an adult this was of little use to me. Give me Disney movies where dogs stay dogs like Eight Below, Hachi or Red Dog.

Family movie.

And one full of nostalgia. As a child I saw this a number of times and although it is now on the dated side, I still see its charm. Of course the memories of 'the past' don't hurt either.
