A lawyer arrives at a Gothic castle to settle the inheritance of a dead man. This man was able to revive the souls of ancient plague victims. The widow and daughter of the man present inform the lawyer that the man's soul is haunted in the castle. This is also apparent when the friends and family present, who are present for the inheritance, are killed one by one.
