Flodder plot
"A Family Movie"
The completely antisocial Flodder family lives in a slum and consists of seven people. The mother, three sons, two daughters, and a senile grandfather of about seventy-five. The sons are not free from criminal behavior and the shapely daughter Kees, who is sixteen, does not take it too seriously. The mother is the boss in the family and makes herself useful by distilling gin. Due to circumstances, the family has to move to a villa in an upscale neighborhood. Tensions and irritations quickly arise with the local residents. When Johnny, the eldest brother, starts an affair with one of the neighbors, the fence is broken. However, her husband, commander of a tank battalion, does not resign himself to the events and starts his private war.

In the 80s this was a hugely popular Dutch comedy film, which mainly had to rely on the flat humor, a complete lack of pretension and natural sex symbol Tatjana Simic with her legendary one-liner "O, neighbor what are you doing now? ". In that scene, Tatjana's firm breasts are also briefly visible, but there is not much nakedness at all (I thought it was a shame at the time 
), because it remains civilized with a few bare buttocks, pubic areas and breasts.
Cigar-smoking Ma Flodder (Nelly Frijda) in her floral dress and wellies became an icon of maladjustment, and it must be said that Nelly Frijda, Huub Stapel, René van 't Hof and Tatjana Simic played their roles well. They are completely absorbed in the unhinged characters, who flout all the rules and prefer to fill their free time with partying, drinking and sex.
At the time, I also found this film interesting, because the outdoor shots were shot in the existing residential area on the Kollenberg in Sittard, which is a few kilometers from my home.
