The Pack plot
"Last summer they were pets. Now they are predators."
The tourists have barely left when the people of Seal Island are confronted with a horrifying fact: The stray dogs released by their owners on the island during the summer suddenly begin to rally together. During the night, the wagging four-legged creatures turn into bloodthirsty beasts that attack anything that gets in their way.

Holidaymakers on the tourist island have left dogs behind and they have now formed a pack of wild dogs and they still like some Chappie kibble. Like those few people who live permanently on the island.
Formulaic work, but well executed and quite exciting. The dogs are indeed the best actors, but of course Joe Don Baker can also be there as our hero. American Human Association is also listed on the roll, so no animal abuse as was often common in the past. That leader of the dogs has a convincingly mean look in his eyes. Pretty cool movie in the subgenre.
