Uh-huh.

Admittedly, the film is less annoying than part 6. The level of stupidity is slightly lower. Add to that some delightfully nasty kills, culminating in the beer tap, which is definitely one of my top 3 slasher kills of the last 20 years. Wonderful. Unfortunately, the film falls apart in the third act, and we descend into a standard Scooby-Doo with a far-fetched perpetrator and motive. It's a shame; this film promised to be something different, but uses modern technology to place it in the current zeitgeist, which simultaneously makes it very weak.

Just stop this series now

A decent film in which a mother and daughter are at risk of losing their lives when a killer returns. You get exactly what you'd expect here. Some great kills and some quite suspenseful moments. It's certainly entertaining, but ultimately a bit too much of the same (and nothing new is revealed).
