The first Scream movie that I'm convinced I give an unsatisfactory.

1 In the first 20 to 25 minutes I knew who committed the murders and what the motivation was. Never had before with a Scream movie.

2 The story is a lot of repetitive and chewed-up nonsense.

3 The acting has never been this bad in a Scream movie. The characters aren't supposed to act like they're in a Stab movie and that's what's happening here.

Outside of Scream 3, the movies have never been crazier for me. There were elements present, also in previous films, but nowhere was it embraced by the makers as much as here.

Not bad but not fantastic either

A middle class in the series better than parts 3 and 4 but worse than 2, 1 and 5.

The kills are again beautiful and the beautiful old-fashioned credits could also appeal to me.

It's worth a 3.5, fun popcorn entertainment with a little bit of nostalgia....

Better than the fifth part. Less meta self-awareness, although still the superfluous references to the so-called Stab movies, which was once a nice joke but now just takes the viewer out of the story. The protagonists now act as if they are in a Stab film. Since Scream 2, the Stab movies are presented as a kind of movie-in-movie, but not as if the main characters themselves play in a Stab movie, so that's a bit crazy.

I think it's a bit of a shame that the familiar surroundings of the small town of Woodsboro are now being abandoned. Also few of the original characters return, and the new characters from part five now form the 'core four' (high five).

The trailer pretends that they are doing it completely differently now, but the same tune is repeated again and this time there are actually three killers. It is said that the main characters are no longer safe, but in reality they are walking around again after countless fatal stabbings. Maybe received too much criticism when the beloved character Dewey was killed in part 5?
